With a publication date of January, 2010, the site launched in early December, 2009 and is designed to promote the upcoming publication and release of the book Secondhand Smoke Crimes.

The Boar's Head Tavern

For this project, we were asked to provide a redesign of the popular, multi-author site Boar’s Head Tavern.

From the site:

“On February 7th, 2002, a diverse group of Christians started a wide-ranging weblog conversation. Today, that conversation continues and you’re invited to pull up a chair.”

Original Site

The primary objectives were to provide an easy-to-use interface for both the readers and the site’s authors. In addition, a number of added functions were incorporated into the final design, including custom designed widgets for twitter updates of the authors.

Gantz & Starr Literary Services

This new site is a collaboration between two noted figures in the literary field.

Karen Gantz-Zahler, the noted literary agent, has joined with Dr. Joyce Starr, noted author and media services expert, to offer a unique website geared to offering literary services for established and emerging authors.

A web site to showcase handcrafted jewelry, this site is currently in development.

Lion & Lamb Books

This is a working project for the internet bookstore, Lion & Lamb Books.

Scheduled for launch in January, 2010, the site has undergone a change in direction to become a review site with the added functionality of incorporating a shopping cart.

Orthocuban Web Site

This project was a redesign of the client’s existing blog.

The previous design was somewhat dark and the site had outgrown the functionality of the prior theme.

In keeping with the client’s desire for a light and festive appearance, we incorporated a colorful floral background, the original of which was previously released by Evan Eckard under the GPL, added in some vector illustration elements and then rebuilt the site using a lighter and more open feel.

Internet Monk

We were asked to perform a redesign of the popular internet site internetmonk.com.

Previous Site

In undertaking this redesign, the client expressed a desire to retain the existing banner and that the site should retain the overall character of the existing site.

We were pleased to be able to incorporate these wishes while developing a new look, a significantly wider design and offering a vast improvement in the functionality of this content-heavy site.

Rights University

In developing the site, Rights University, we were charged with designing an inviting and easy to use website for the purpose of educating and informing consumers concerning their rights in a variety of areas.

The site was recently launched and specializes in empowering users through downloadable media, online empowerment seminars and the publication of mobile apllications.

Mobile App: Pocket Sponsor (shown actual size)

Pocket Sponsor is titled after the book by the same name. Written by the Hazelden author of the classic Day by Day, the Pocket Sponsor book is designed for teens and young adults to carry their “sponsor” with them.

Dealing with alcoholism and addiction recovery, the Pocket Sponsor mobile app provides a summary of 31 days of morning and evening meditations and brings new meaning to the concept of portability.

While only recently launched, this application has met with an overwhelming response from those utilizing the app.

Fresh Start Indy

Owners of the Fresh Start Indy network of sites sought to consolidate their sites into a single online presence.

The Previous Site

Bringing together the previous sites involved designing a completely new layout to merge the content. In addition, it was imperative that the new site be easily navigated and present a welcoming environment to the users.

Drawing elements from the previous designs, our goal was to present a fresh presence that retained the sense of comfort often referenced by the site’s customers.
